I just wanted to post this ad for Sunlight dishwashing liquid so we could all bask in its overwhelming strangeness. It's like one of those 3-D magic eye posters - if you look at it long enough, you think you might get it, but then you're not sure. I don't know why, but this ad's non-sensicalness has some how captivated my attention so much that I think it's eerily moving closer to being genius, the longer I stare at it. But then again - I don't know. Strange. I'm still just shaking my head.

Umm, shouldn't the title read: Moonlight. As the light of a full moon brings out the Werewolves (according to all of the horror flicks I've endured).
Sunlight is the name of the product - which just adds to the confusion.
i just think that in this case the detergent is SO GOOD that it makes dishes cast such strong glare, looking like the moon that a in-hiding, let's say, werewolf, might get fooled and inadvertedly turn into his alterself.
I think the point is that the moon reflects sunlight...and this detergent is so effective it can trick any unsuspecting teen wolf into believing that his mother's clean plate is the full moon.
Yet, the dish only looks like the moon from the forced angle we are seeing it. The dish would not look like a moon sitting on the kitchen counter. Then there is the strange sunlight/moonlight paradox happening. I think you are both close to the idea they were going for - but it still seems a bit off, not to mention random.
A moon as bright as the sun? Also distances itself from the usual imagery of happy, bright, cheerful sunlit advertising.
